Bent-Con

This convention was another first for me. It took place at the Marriot in Burbank. This convention is like any other convention except it celebrates LGBTQ (and allies) contributions to nerd culture. There was a cosplay contest, a runway show with cosplayers, a strip-tease show, some music, figure drawing, photo shoots, panels, one of which featured Anne Rice. During one of the shows being performed by cosplayers, I joked with my friend that we should do one with death metal.

I met Anne Rice. I wanted to take a photo of her alone, but there was a photographer taking pictures. I gave him my camera to take this picture.
