This year was more crowded than last year, but I think that’s good. This convention is growing and I hear that more people brought their children to teach acceptance! Speaking of which, there was a kid’s corner! Kids, as well as a adults, colored in coloring books and a drag queen read some stories to the kids.
RuPaul’s DragCon was created by RuPaul Charles and it takes place at the LA Convention Center. It focuses on the world of drag and it features guests who are well-known in the drag world.
Various booths offered merchandise and services, such as cosmetics, clothes, and wigs. There was one booth that I helped promote another convention, called Pride Con. I took photos as well as handing out flyers.
Day 2 will come soon!
